    Definitely one day I could see this happening but I doubt Toyota would do a complete power train revision half way through a generation. I think we are stuck with these setups for another 2 - 3 years.

    It's really just swapping out the alternator and adding the additional battery, maybe switching to beefier pulleys. Jeep is adding it to their regular ole' Pentastar across the lineup without any changes to the engine itself.

    I'm going to guess the Taco will be an updated appearance package with better tires.

    All 4runners are getting TSS at some point. All Toyota models will. 4 runner might be the last to do so for some reason.

    I'm no engineer so I don't know what all changes have to be made to incorporate a mild hybrid system. I do know the 2018 Jeep Wrangler which this "eTorque" system is being debuted in is a complete redesign, the start of a new generation. Jeep isn't putting this system into a Wrangler halfway through it's life. Not saying Toyota couldn't do something to boost power but it's very improbable. Every time a new model year comes out, someone on this forum spins rumors of either a diesel option or new gears in the differential or a supercharger option but it never happens. It's more likely we will see minor aesthetic changes like a mid cycle refresh to give the Tacoma updated facelift to get reporters excited about it again. Just my $.02

    It's just going to be about their "offroad-ready" Adventure Rav4. Bet it's hiding behind the other 3 trucks in the picture.

    Stock all the way
    -A crawl control in Tundra with a locker.
    -Some toyota safety sense for 4runner or new fender flares with black trims
    -Tacoma upgrade to LED headlights or a brand new improve TRD suspension.
    I love to see them make the tundra be at raptor level.

    Based on Toyotas long and extremely well documented history, nothing significant will change. Their foothold has always been reliability. They simply don't go gimmicky glitchy bullshit, never have and likely never will. Expect to see TSS somehow integrated into a more advanced crawl control, maybe optional JBL and sunroof options but that's likely it. The 2018 pros are already on the streets, so changes wouldn't hit the dealer until 2019 model year anyway.

    I doubt any changes will be of any real significance.

    No, not all new. More like another better facelift than the current 2018.

    Not sure what the proper termage is, when someone says redesign I think of a brand new vehicle. To me a refresh is a facelift.

    Redesign = Update of current
    Facelift = new grille and headlights
    All new redesign = Whole new truck
