Just got the call, my truck is finally finished being fixed from the dealer!!! Pics maybe later if it's still light enough out when I pick it up.

Your LCA cam tabs are probably flattened. So youd want new ones welded on. Stock UCAs have no adjustment whatsoever, so if it is coming out of alignment its due to the LCAs

What is the issue? Like Adam said, uppers have no alignment unless they are heimed. Check your lower cams and they are probably flat, or you have really worn out LCA bushings or a bad tie road or steering component.

I weld and can fix that shit :D

It probably is the tabs if I had to guess. Last time I had it aligned they said that they had a difficult time getting it completely straight. My truck is only a couple years old with 20ish thousand so I don't think it would be any bearings yet.

20k? I doubt the actual tabs are flat.

It's so hard to believe though. That's hardly any miles.

Just like LCA bushings/bolts being froze before salt even hits? Haha

Yeah I had to try and hammer mine back out just to try and keep them holding the cams. I need to just get the Total Chaos (or whoever makes them) ones and weld them in. Woof.

And hell, I bet the damned cams seize on the truck on the way to the dealership. Such a huge problem. You could go and have 3 dozen alignments and the techs wont even mention it...if it doesn't move they just try the others until the machine goes green.

You all need to take your LCAs apart more often it sounds like :anonymous:

If you can bend your stock tabs back 90* just place a weld behind them and save yourself $80

Dealership did the same to me when I was in for a 2nd alignment. 1st time they failed to mention my cams and the tie rod ends were siezed

I bent one or two of mine, marginally, at some point after my second time swapping the front shocks. It happened while wheeling. Was able to tap with a hammer back into place

The tabs should be 90° on either side of the alignment cam.
