I can't either. Same with full auto windows. The 4runner has auto both ways on every window...even the back one! Haha. Toyota did great in some things in the Tacoma, but as far as features go they severely dropped the ball. But if they built the perfect truck tacoma world wouldn't be a thing and I have too much fun modifying my truck to complain about it too much!

Not today.. But yesterday, got a friend help me do the cab mount chop:drunk:

Might need to give it a small trim and polish to later on place my DIY* cover plate.

*Will use CNC machine to cut into specifications and fabricate it out of steel.

Last november, I purchased another Taco
    2014 / DC Long Bed.

I'll post some pictures after replacing my front bumper
( 150 miles of heavy mud definitively broke the stock plastic bumper)

All extras equal more weight, and more money to the sticker price. Though the window extras you mentioned would have been nice.

That's true. I can see that with the power rear window, but one touch windows all around? I think that would be around $1,500 added to the price. I'm surprised they didn't have enough interest in focus groups or wherever that they didn't do it.

That cover is such a weird thing to me. It's like F55 can think up anything and it'll sell like hotcakes. Next: Winch condoms that you put over your F55 thimbles so you don't scratch them during recoveries.

I like that it covers the portion of the rope most exposed to the elements, road grime, etc. Last week I sleeved the outermost wrap on my winch with tubular webbing after I saw how much road grit it was collecting. The picture below shows how much line is exposed to the elements with the "hidden" winch mount I have.

Yeah, I was a little reluctant at first. But, it is a synthetic rope. I park my truck outside, in the driveway, and there is direct sunlight on it a couple hours a day. Figured it was a small price to pay ($50) to protect the part of the rope that takes a shitload of stress.

Good job, it hugs the bumper well.

You might want to stick a couple 3/4 inch felt pads on the back of the aluminum bracket to protect the bumper in case someone "bumps" into the bracket while parking. If not there then the nuts on the back side will be pushed into the bumper, potentially causing damage. Pic added for clarity:

This is from a 3rd Generation Tacoma bracket but it is the best picture I have that clearly shows adding the felt pads. In this case they are doubled up to make sure that the pads hit before the securing nuts do.

Thanks for the advice man, I’ll invest in some felt pads to put on there.
