Anyone been up Chumstick lately? I usually go up off Nahayum Canyon road but I'm not sure what the snow is like out there right now.

 

Given the way it's been snowing in the mountains the past couple days I'd bet the Chumdumpster has a big load of white stuff on it's face.

Anyone on here have stand up jet skis? Ive been doing it for a few years and have never thought to ask anyone on here....

 

Hey, Folks.

Does anyone have a 2017 (4B11 or 4B12 ECU) MT with OVT in the Seattle area? I'm conflicted since my Taco drives pretty well compared to what folks are saying, but I have a few minor issues. I'm curious if anyone would like to meet up and do a ride along? Just looking to either confirm or deny my insanity.

I am not in any rush.

Used to have a 91 550sx with the Reed motor and also a 550 hull with a 650sx motor swap. Been wanting another one.

I go up to Lynnwood every once in a while (folks are there) but I'm AT :/ Have no complaints about mine so far and don't plan on doing the OVT. Regear before ever touching the tune.

 

There was someone I know local that had the OVT with 3rd gen, not sure if they where auto or m/t. @0331 I think.

@dakotasyota have you had issues with d2s 4.0's holding the cut off line? After putting my cheapo LED bulbs in the cut off is wack. Wasn't like that before. Maybe I twisted too hard taking the old hid harness off and cocked the projector? I picked up some non ballast LEDs.






Edit: well shit, I guess what I thought was the hid bulbs flickering was actually the projectors shaking. Do you use locktite on the lock rings?

I don't use loctite, I use JBWeld. Cinch it down and JB weld the shit out of it.

The nut to the projector, and the nut to the headlight housing. That shit won't move.

 

Lol. I'm assuming he has a 2017 with one of those ECU versions and is wanting to see if it's worth the ~$800 for a tune.

 

Don’t have an OVT but got a manual... would be interested to see your thoughts once you do the drive along though.

 

OVT = orange virus tune. One of the few tunes available for 3rd gens.
