    Pretty much, I maxed out the tensioner as far as it would go and it barely fit. Be ready to fight with it a bit

    You could pull of the tensioner assembly and shave down the stop tab. The shorter belt would work then.
    I have thought about doing this but haven't checked to see if there would be any interference issues with the tensioner pulley riding slightly higher up.

    Guess I haven’t changed my profile in sometime now. I did run the 2.7 + NST overdrive kit with 7th when the ucon first came out. But I changed that set up about 5 years ago to 2.55+ NST and TRD reflash. I still have the 7th on... it’s just not wired up to spray. A boost controller could command the 7th but for me the elevation relieves me not needing more fuel. Curious IF the ovtune will be legit or not. Regardless, I just need to bite the bullet and get the haltech 2500

    What’s the best header gasket for the 4.0? I have some bad leaks from the headers right now and need to get new ones before I mount my front bypass hoops and block the hole to get to them.

    I used a new set of OEM when I installed my headers. No leaks yet. :fingerscrossed:

    Go ahead and post this up on the 1st page if you want.
    This is the tensioner mod I was talking about a few pages back. It will allow you to easily install the 1" shorter belt which will put more spring tension on the belt. I shaved it down using a Dremel with a cutting bit.20180126_234232.jpgUnmodified tensioner.20180126_235941.jpgShaved down tensioner. This isnt rocket science here people. I just shaved the thinner material off and left the meatiest part.

    Is this mod mainly needed just for the 2.7” pulley? For the 2.55” pulley it wasn’t too hard to slip it on there.

    I'm still running the stock belt size right now. I just modded it since I already had the belt off for the quick change pulley install. This is only required for people having a hard time installing the shorter belt, or someone with a 2.8 or larger pulley having belt slipping issues.
    I also have an idea for a pulley wrap mod which will increase the contact area of the belt on the sc pulley.

    I have looked into belt wrap mods for our blowers, as they are very popular amongst the 3.8L GTP crew, but the way their blower snout and pulley protrude outwards is a lot different than ours. Ours does not allow for a belt wrap mod attachment unless there was some custom fab work done to do so.
