Went total ham today. Took the day off. Found the moog control arms locally, oem hardware from Haddad and finished the job. Also put some 1 inch blocks in the rear. Sorry to overtake your thread with all my stuff John, haha. I should start a build thread.

Haha no worries man. I added BS to the title so it’s ok now. Glad to hear it worked out. If a build thread was just that it be like 3 pages. Glad to hear we could kind of help ya along and it worked out for you

Thanks. Yeah I'm super pleased how it worked out and that everything was available in town. Just had to reuse one nut that they didn't have. Definitely nice to be able to rant and get support on the forum. No one else understands, haha.

Haha I’m impressed you got it all done in a day. But yeah I totally get the fiasco it can sometimes be. It’s fun to find ppl that have just been as miserable as you and can rant to them. Ever get stuck in a pickle and need some help or knowledge let me know. Forum is supposed to help ppl and sometimes it does that, but lot of time the assholes are the loudest so you have to deal with the shit for a while

He's coming in March 2018 haha probably around 1st to 2nd week, they keep bouncing around the due date a bit. I did do a test fit of the new car seat. In the rear facing infant setting it puts my seat a notch to close to the steering wheel which is a little aggravating but I think it should be ok for a little while.

it'll probably end up there, or the middle. Wife liked the idea of behind me since she could lean back and check on him if needed a little easier

welp booked the ferry to head to Marthas Vineyard this year. Heading out to the "Rock" for Labor Day weekend and the Mrs gave me the go ahead to get an awning and enclosure for the Taco (for the baby of course haha). SO have all summer to come up with a bed rack design and make new steps for the taco since I have to agree with her the CBI sliders leave something to be desired for steps.

So if anyone may be interested in the CBI sliders let me know. I can pull them off at the end of the winter and have them sandblasted

Haha I think she let me trade the AC to a DC so she could get the baby so really she played me haha

But yeah so I already have the cad files for the frame plates so gonna cut that figure out how big to do the steps.
Bed Rack might be the tricky

    Congrats on the little one.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the rack and steps.

And I need sliders! Are they bolt on?

Thanks man! We are having a boy so I’m super pumped.

Yeah they are the CBI bolt on ones. If you use them as steps you won’t have to drill. If you use and abuse them you’ll have to drill the bottom holes. I got all stainless steel hardware for them. And the little filler piece that goes into the cross member I fanned a stainless replacement one.

Edit: also the sliders have the DOM upgrade to them
