    I don’t know if they still sell actual factory service manuals, I got the set for my 01 almost 10 years ago. I’ve heard they have some online for the 3rd gen, but I could never get them to load. These things are damn near priceless. With those, a good set of tools and a few specialty tools, that’s your genuine lifetime warranty.

    enough to go over stuff
    I use red on every suspension bolt and stuff still looses up with enough time offroad. If its stuck hit it with the impact or a torch for a minute and it will come off. I have a reverse only impact for this stuff. 500 foot pounds snaps bolts when you drive them in

    I wish I could get involved in something like that. I’m located in South Carolina, not sure if they do that around these parts.

    So I think I’m gonna pick up the following that I don’t currently have;

    Dead blow hammer
    Brass hammer
    Some box end ratchets
    Under hoist jack stand
    Impact

    Also I think I’m gonna go with the full OME 2” heavy kit from Low range and a CBI T3 with full grille protection.

    Any thoughts?

    Getchu a long pry bar. It might help with breaking the axel nut loose as well as popping the CV loose (stuff it between the lug studs to stop the hub from rotating). They're handy asf. Also, do u have the socket for the axel nut? If not, get one of those with a long breaker bar.

    you don't need a axle nut socket to install suspension. axle nut is a 35mm. at least on the 2nd gens

    Some of Tools to have. All you really need is a 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 24, 35 all in mm
    (deep and shallow socket plus wrenches) wrenches and sockets to do just about anything on these things. I do recommend at least 2 19mm wrenches
    Set of Allen wrenchs
    If doing the upper control arms you will also need a ball joint press
    Jack and jack stands.

    Thanks for all of the help guys. I'm gonna hold off on the plate bumper and just do a suspension kit. Still can't decide which one yet.
