I come home to this lazy dude. Snoring away. Never even moved when I came in. He is waiting for my son to come home.

20180124_180557.jpg I took a stroll with my best bud and noticed my other best pal following behind. If you look hard enough you'll find a kitty in the road. He followed us the entire walk... almost 2 miles.

I apologize for shitty Lightroom skills. But I was really wanting to see the kitty!

Had a bit of a scare last week with Sam. Came home from an overnighter and he was acting lethargic and not eating, hiding too. Took him to the vet right away to find out he had a 105.9 fever (102 range is normal for felines) got him on some fluids and antibiotics though. Not sure what the cause was. The brothers have never been separated before so taking Sam to the vet alone really threw frodo for a loop. Came home and frodo had peed on the carpet (never happened before) and was acting very strange towards sam. Hissed a few times too.
Now that Sam is healthy again they seem closer than ever, frodo actually let's sam finish his meals (he's a fatass) and they cuddle together and bathe eachother, they haven't done that in a year.. it warms my heart. Anyway..sorry for the novel.. here they are..

That happened with mine last month. Flurry and Tanger. Brothers from the same litter. Always together. Sleep entwined, clean each other, bat their toys back and forth to each other. I don't think they've been more than three feet apart since they were born.

Noticed Flurry wasn't eating or playing so we took him to the vet. Apparently he ate something he shouldn't have, and although he passed it, it did some damage on the way through. He got some medicine and some fluids and was home and acting normally 6 hours later. Opened the carrier to let him out and immediately Tanger was hissing and swiping at him and howling. Everywhere Flurry went, Tanger would chase him away. The only place he was safe was in my lap, so I sat with him for two days.

Days three and four there were no attacks, but Tanger wanted nothing to do with him. Flurry would try to curl up next to him and he would get up and go to another room.

Day 5. I woke up and went to find them. They were tangled up together asleep in my recliner. Everything back to normal. No issues since.

I have no clue what causes this behavior. Is it the vet smell? Some aura they give off when they're sick? I'm just really glad it's a temporary thing.

I completely forgot that pictures could be edited. Not too shabby. My circumstances prevented me from being able to snap a good photo, as I was being dragged forward by a 100lb dog while checking on the 10lb cat behind me. Had I turned around the dog would have been more than enthusiastic to say hello to the cat.

Happens to my boys too. Vet said it might be scent related. Hospital smells like alcohol, sanitizer, and other cats... my guys usually get over it in less than a day, and quick visits don't usually cause the problem.

Yeah I figured it was the smells and the medicine we had to give him too, Frodo would try to sniff him then jump back all confused, with that stanky face that cats get when they smell something funky. But yes i'm just glad they're back to normal and loving each other more than usual

This cat looks like that "one" friend everyone has that you know is going to have a messed up story, got in to some kind of predicament, or is getting ready to start some $hit. Soon as you see him you know something is going to happen...

I'm no fan of cats by any means but this kitten I saved from my dogs mouth called animal control and got her picked up and has found a new home. There is an abnormal amount of stray cats around my house so it's common to find the dogs chasing the strays. ASPCA won't pick the cats up anymore not sure what to do anymore. But here's a couple pictures of the little one

Ours won't either unless you trap them. Can you imagine trying to catch a wild cat? Best hope they would have is a .22 and we know that wouldn't go over well. Especially if they weren't marksmen.
