Hi I have a 2000 taco, 3.4 extended cab 4wd and am on the market for leaf springs at an online place (rockauto) on their items description they note that some pickups have or not a "wedge under spring" ...how do I know if mine have it, what should I look for?

subb'ed, I'm curious also. We use 'wedges' under lift springs to correct pinion angles but never was aware of them being used under a stock spring.
As a 'for instance' on my 2000, I replaced the stock TRD springs with Old Man Emus and had a vibration from the U-joints. A 2 degree (I think, if I remember right) wedge corrected this and all was well.

I assume you're wanting to stay at stock height but any particular reason to use RockAuto springs?

If you're staying stock height, you don't need a "wedge" (also known as a pinion angle shim). Lifted, you may or may not need it, but they are usually recommended to purchase and have on hand just in case since it's a pain to buy, wait for shipping and install after the fact.

Cruxofthebiscuit I am planning the cheapest solution, in order to fix vibration and a suspension issue that is moving the bed (almost a quarter off the centerline), and with it the leer camper is leaking, too. I don't care about lifting it, I just want to fix it!!!
So with your help guys, I know that instead of aiming to the bilsteins and omes and the rest of the jazz (ubolts bushings bolts and shackles), I should replace suspension and get the wedges...just in case.
Now why are the omes the best option? ....are them stock or are lifters? is there a deal somewhere that I can get to get those springs?

Ok, no hard sell from me on wanting stock height....or cheapest. I'm tighter than most. Seems like the above link is your best deal then. 100 bux a side.
My issue with Rock was that it didn't seem much cheaper than buying name brand.
