Yea I’m familiar with gville. Born and raised in Clayton. Lived in oakwood for a few years while working in Lula.

I’ll keep them in mind and probably call for a quote. What kind of price range was your bumper?

Gonna call a couple of other places in the metro area tomorrow, just threw it out there in case anyone here had some insider knowledge.

Nice! My bumper (plus light bar cover & frame supports) was around $180, with a 24 hr turnaround time. I think the guy who did the powder coating, drove a Tacoma as well, and ended up sand blasting my bumper for free.

 

Thanks! Sounds like a pretty reasonable price for a big item.

I haven’t fully decided if I’m going this route yet. Still going back and forth between two wheel options.

I’ll def keep these guys in mind for this or future powder coating projects.

Any chance you’d mind asking him what a round about price would be to powder coat a set of wheels? Not looking at doing any crazy fancy color, just matte black.

 

Are they chrome painted or what?

17” and just painted, not chrome. They aren’t in horrible shape, just not currently the color I’d want them to be.

I haven’t even commited to buying them. Trying to find out how much it’d cost to get them powder coated before I buy the wheels. Might not be worth it if the paints too much.

 

I'd like to know the quote as well, got my 18x10s that need something done. But I want green accents as well

 

I called GPC in gville that @YotaBum recommended. Really nice folks. They quoted $100 per wheel. That was a good bit more than I was hoping, but that may be the going rate I didn’t get a chance to call any other places.
