Any chance you’d mind asking him what a round about price would be to powder coat a set of wheels? Not looking at doing any crazy fancy color, just matte black.

 

Are they chrome painted or what?

17” and just painted, not chrome. They aren’t in horrible shape, just not currently the color I’d want them to be.

I haven’t even commited to buying them. Trying to find out how much it’d cost to get them powder coated before I buy the wheels. Might not be worth it if the paints too much.

 

I'd like to know the quote as well, got my 18x10s that need something done. But I want green accents as well

 

I called GPC in gville that @YotaBum recommended. Really nice folks. They quoted $100 per wheel. That was a good bit more than I was hoping, but that may be the going rate I didn’t get a chance to call any other places.

 

I think I'll try some rattle cans for that price

I would think my buddy would say Atleast that because they have to be blasted then washed then painted then put in the oven!

 

Not sure yet, Maybe copy the other mo970 pattern but instead of machined it'll be green and definitely the machined holes that look like beadlocks

About the only picture I have that show my wheels. They have some bad scratches and gouges from the p.o., I will admit I did put one gouge in. I blame the one on the tailgate..

Nah, family coming to visit, 5k race, kid's birthday party. Busy weekend :/ All set up for AMS next month though. Taking a crew of 11.

 

if anybody in here is interested, Georgia off-road Toyotas is havin a get together on the 3rd at applebees in Bethlehem at 7pm.

 

Might be scrapping the powder coating idea. Just don’t think it’ll be economically the best route.

Honestly they both have pros, no pun intended, and cons to me.

My wife could care less so I’m looking for outside perspective.
