    Hey everyone,
I'm looking at a used tacoma, that has fiberglass bedsides does anybody know if they sit over top of the original bed side?
    Thanks in advance.

No. You need to cut the bedsides. I wouldn't seriously consider that truck if you're looking for a reliable daily driver. People that mod their trucks with fiberglass body panels are usually doing that with the intent to mod and drive their trucks hard and you can run into people who didn't do it right (or maintain their vehicles as they should be). Pics?

That might be a valid point over yonder where you live.

Here Fiberglass panels are great because they don`t rust .

If I had to do major rust repairs to the bed it would be my first option over building a flat bed

Then I am for sure the type that does not maintain there vehicle at the Quicky Mart Auto service

You lose a lot of strength in the bed rails when you install fiberglass - you won't be able to run a conventional camper shell setup w/o some planned out mods or use your bed the way most people are used to. I've never seen anyone install them for rust prevention, but I see your point - you'd have to fab up some bedside supports for them too.
