I'm ashamed to say that my 1st gen is at 295k on original shocks. It rides horrible. It squeaks and moans on every pebble..... It's lived a rough life for sure. That being said, I don't intend on doing a refresh until I hit 300k. Shame on me. Did I mention I daily drive it for work? It just keeps on giving!

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
I'm getting my new wheels and tires installed right now at Diacount Tire. They told me to goto 4wheelparts as they said they just sent 2 more lifted Tacoma's over there this week to get the proper caster etc. dunno yet If I'm gonna follow suit. I know the owner of SoulSpeed Suspension & Tire pretty well and he'd be willing to take care of my truck.

DUDE!!!! I'm glad you're doing better. I mentioned this post to my wife and let her know we hung out with you at T&T and she was happy to hear you're better as well. Take care of yourself!! Enjoy the fishing. Hope you catch some big strippers![/QUOTE]

4wp might be the worst place to take it. I need to give out more bizness cards so we can get fellow Toyota off road enthusiasts going in the right direction.

Surprisingly, our new suspension creaks and squeals too! But it does ride night & day differently. You'll be so pumped in 5k miles! These rigs never cease to impress me, stoked you're almost at 300k! We're at 180k just getting broken in lol

Things. Stuff. Lots of bad decisions.
    Mostly Zip-Ties
Just a note: I ran them before I installed the steel bumper up front. Everything I have read says it should be fine and "if you use Bilsteins SET THEM AT THE LOWEST SETTING" but I think you're doing the right thing with the 886's.

For third gen's it's 886's right? Correct me if I am wrong, please.

I feel ya, I'm just waiting for the ole refund to come in then I am getting my lift finally. Still deciding what but if the price is worth it, @TX_Lucian has been pretty happy with the Bilstein lift on his T4R so.. It's probably going to be that or the same OME setup @LostHusker put on his. I got to see those on the run last weekend.

Found a possible deal lastnight so I set my self up as either a guinea pig and/or a Sucker.
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073FB9TX2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_t5XAAb8KGD2QE

Earlier this week I posted the X Bull recovery boards that I came across on YouTube.
Didn't look like a bad deal at $99 on ebay or $109 on amazon. But lastnight I found a pair of recovery boards that appear to be the same as the X Bulls for $69 on Amazon.com.

I figured that in the past I have wasted more money on worse crap so I ordered a set. They should be here Tuesday.

Then I need to find a place to get stuck so I can test them out before the Arkansas trip.

BTW if anyone else wants to join us on the Arkansas trip let me know and I will add you to our "Conversation" we have going.
