That works well with one but it's a different game if you have 2, close in age and a small house. It's damage control trying to get the crying not to wake up the other one. Fortunately, my older one can now sleep through a Detroit Diesel at full throttle in his bedroom but when he was younger, he would wake up for everything. Then, it's like dueling banjos.

I imagine it was a combination of both, really. The EPA restrictions in the US are so tight on diesels that manufacturers couldn't build them cheaply enough that people would buy them unless they were in an already-expensive full-size truck. I mean, a $6-8000 premium for a diesel is less noticeable when it bumps a $40K truck to $48k than it is when it bumps a $18k car to $26k.

Cars, or trucks? The GM unit-body vehicles don't have that stupid wax/paste stuff that the full-frame trucks do.

The guy at LineX of Merrimack Valley said that the FF will remove all the factory installed GMC stuff so he suggested one of two courses of action... Either he could do the treatment and just try to avoid spraying the frame, or I could wait a year to do the treatment, which is what he suggests. I think he's legit, they do a lot of Fluid Film and truck stuff, he did my Tacoma when it was new. I doubt he would feed me a line like that when it's his bread and butter but what do I know. He sells truck stuff like Weathertech, running boards, toneau covers, but I guess his big deal is the LineX and Fluid Film.

 

Good morning. 4:30 can't get here soon enough. We're headed to North Conway tonight to go ski at Wildcat tomorrow with a bunch of friends. Should be a good time.

 

Going to the local Portuguese club tonight, to go see a comedy show.

There's a group of guys from Fall River MA called The Portuguese Kids, and they are in town tonight. They've been here a few times already, and they're hilarious, so going to check it out tonight since they have a "new" show.

 

Jealous..... I was almost heading to Maine tonight but plans that I have to be there for came up last minute Gunna have to survive for another week

 

Fall river! nothin but portuguese people basically. If i don't have homemade chourico or want some cheese it's where i go.
