    Hi folks,

did google and search here, but can't find answer:

Do I need to cut out top part of bedliner to fit Snugtop shell in?

I bought it from guy who said I need to cut it in order to fit it right. It is bit tight now with bedliner. Was thinking to cut just back top part bit since can't close door properly.
Dont want to cut it for possible later use.Maybe I will just remove bedliner,or cut just in the back.
But when I saw some pix, looks like it is made to fit tight with NO bedliner.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you,

    Paul

adding: forgot that i'm using universal clamps, not the shell ones

Um, I did cut the original bedliner that I had when I got a cap. I subsequently got another OEM liner that goes under the bed rails though, so it solved the problem.

Just cut the holes that are already in the liner up higher...

    thanx for reply,

I've had to cut it,Here's few pix of how I did:

I was doing it by myself!

First I marked it with marker.
Than I slided the cap on one side of the truck and let it support by ladder. That way I had space to cut other side from outside [without going inside the cap].Also did some of the "behind the cab" side.
Than moved it on another side and finished the rest.

Slide it back and tided it. Connected the brake light thanx to this post:

    Hope this helps someone.

I think that's the best way to do it (without removing whole bed liner). It looks good. No issues whatsoever. Note thou that I don't open back, just the camper window (too much stuff in). The bed liner still holds on original screws. Cut it just tiny bit more then you need for camper shell.
