Kadei finally hits the back of the net and Noodles made Bishop look like he was asleep. Not the greatest effort from the Leafs but two wins from a back to back is just what they need.

The Flames can not beat the Oil for whatever reason. Six straight losses in the battle of Alberta.

 

That was a fun game, though the OT was surprisingly boring after such a great 60mins

 

The Buffalo Sabres have petitioned the league to see if they can only play Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary moving forward. They feel this is the best chance for them to make a playoff run.

 

Just checking in as a Stars fan.... bad morning to check in though.

It's been quite an impressive run by those guys. They have been stacking up points. Has to be tough that they still trail TB, after all of that, but still impressive no matter what.

 

Its been awesome to be a fan this year and watch all the kids contribute. Has to drive Claude Julien nuts that they can actually play and swept the season series with the Habs. Im kind of disappointed because I am going to visit my parents in Tampa in March and was hoping to snag cheap tickets when the Bruins play the Bolts but I doubt that will happen.

 

Ya I actually kind of feel bad for Julien, as he's a good coach. But B's have moved on and are doing well. He is in a mess of a situation in Montreal. But as far as the B's, it is a well-rounded team and they could be a real threat in the playoffs. McAvoy is my dude. Kid is a stud, can't wait until he's healthy and back in the lineup.

 

Claude was a great coach for the Bs but his message got stale and he wasnt giving the young kids enough leeway. If they made a defensive mistake theyd be up on the 9th floor or sent down to providence. Cassidy seems to let them play and is being rewarded for it. Julien was always trying to win games 0-0. Cassidy has a more offensive style and it has paid off.

Still alive. Just not a lot to post about lately. Plus I just had some surgery - so I haven't caught much Hockey lately.

Saw a replay of the disallowed goal from last night. What a load of horse shit!!

 

Oh....and I'm recovering very well. So feel free to rake me over the coals still. haha

The Oilers are still my team (obviously).....but wow!! Who knows what the fuck you'll get, on any given night!
Can't decide if there's something truly messed up - or they simply over-performed last season!

 

If the Oilers only played in their own division they'd be first place.
