Gotcha. It depends on your budget and what you desire honestly. I went with 5100’s just to get a minimal change in lift and avoid any potential issues that come along with lifting like possibly needing UCA’s or having issues with the needle bearing. It’s all about want and needs!

awesome. thanks for the feedback! I was thinking of just going 5100s for now, then upgrade to 285/70R17. and then eventually get different coils and AAL. So if you go with different springs eventually, the 5100s should still be reusable too right?

Yes, you can change the coils on the 5100’s at any time. As long as the shock itself is still in perfect condition you’re good to go! My truck is sitting on stock coils for now, maybe down the road once my warranty runs out I’ll open a whole new can of worms and go 3” of lift. But for now keep it at 1”, and keep my warranty in tact so I don’t struggle with the dealer. If you upgrade to 285 just keep in mind you most likely will have to do come modification to your inner fender well or cab mount depending on your wheel specs. And if you plan on off roading it a bit a regear will be ideal since the 3rd gens lack in low end torque and power.

Is it required or just recommended to replace bushings when lifting or is that needed only after certain height change?

From what I understand, the removal process for the leaf bushings is destructive. Most aftermarket Leafs will use Poly Bushings of some sort anyway. If we're talking about the UCAs then you shouldn't have to.

For reference this is the thread i used: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/bjmoose-installs-full-ome-kit-rear-brake-lines-with-pics.115775/

Mine are at the 3rd setting which Bilstein says gives 1.1” of lift.

When I'm looking at HeadStrong's website I noticed the those two number settings. What is that for? Are they just preloading the 6112s for front lift?
