Okay so I'm going to start off by apologizing. I'm very new to this whole world and even after hours of research, most things sound/look like Chinese to me. I have a 2016 DCSB OR 4x4. I want to lift/level it enough to fit 33s. I don't want anything over the top or anything too cheap. Most of my driving is on paved roads so this is mainly a cosmetic mod. I take the occasional trail here and there but other than that, it's only used on the beach. Please post any recommendations on what you guys think I need.

Research research research! Keep looking through the suspension thread. I'm new to lifts as well but I keep learning something new everyday. If you got the $ you can't go wrong with a Fox/King/Icon suspension lift with a Add a leaf in the rear. Would probably need to get new upper control arms if lifting the front 3" or more. I'm not sure if you'd need to do any trimming to prevent rubbing but there are a bunch of threads on that. If the fox/icon/kings are out of your budget, a lot of people are running Bilstein 5100s on their set ups.

There are a lot of threads on this.

Figure out what your budget is.

You can get anything from $300 to $3000.

If you have any questions, let me know.

I know that there are a lot of threads on this but I can't seem to find the right information. Lots of posts have conflicting answers. I'm looking for something where I'm gonna spend anywhere from $500 to $1500. Like I said, I'm very new to this. I don't want anything over the top - no more than 3"

Start here and as many said research research research, and I believe if you want to put 285's (33's) on stock wheels you will need wheel spacers, or aftermarket wheels. The usual goal is " Buy Once, Cry Once." and call Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road and she will fit you right up.

Budget friendly, Bilstein 5100's all the way around with an AAL and OME coil.

I'm definitely going to upgrade the wheels to avoid spacers. I just want to get the lift cost out of the way first and then move on to wheels/tires.

This it is pretty much what a lot of people go with. I have OME 887's on 5100's up front and in the rear I have ICON 2.0 Shocks, and an ICON 3 Leaf Progressive AAL with JBA Standard High Caster UCA's up front. Tires are only 265/70/17's though.

I have the same tire/wheel size and was wondering what it would like like with about 2 inches more of height. How does your set up ride compare to stock? I don't really want it to differ too much, I like the ride.

I agree with the other guys. Bilstein 5100s with OME 888 cool and aal. I also run Total Chaos UCAs but those you can pick which ever you like. I got all my components from @HeadStrong Off-Road and would highly recommend you call them for all your questions. Super nice and helpful with competitive pricing.
