Great selection. High quality parts, the guys there are cool to deal with and know and run our trucks, only make stuff for toyota. Another good place is Downey Off Road, they are stricty Toyota too. I go with either, Have had parts from both.

I'd look into Tuff Country lifts as well... That is what I am installing this week... Reviews seem to be good. I 'believe' that they have kits for that year as well - but don't quote me...

    Soo..

    Pro-Comp $470
    Toy Tec + Shocks $590

I guess im really just looking for a lift that is more for looks than for climbing mountains.. not looking to spend $1k-2k.. Its going to be a daily driver, most offroading it will really see is driving at the lake, maybe sneak out to one of the drop zones on Bragg but nothin out there is tooo bad

Why not get some 5100's bilstein adjustable shocks you can achieve a 2.5" lift

That is what I wanted... and for some light off-road use. I am not going the beat the crap out of my ride. Plus I commute into DC daily, so I need something that is road-friendly too.

The kit I bought is this: http://www.suspensionconnection.com/cgi-bin/suscon/52907.html?id=23riSIqE

I am having my bestfriend's brother (professional master mechanic) install it at his shop this week. Cannot beat that... To my door, $277.02 + case of beer = a 3'' suspension lift.

That isn't too far from DC... You could always take a R&R trip here... I am sure he could use the extra business on the weekend or something. I'll talk to him and see what is up...

Yes, please call Downey before you buy some skyjacker or fabtech or rancho or revtek or whoever else JUNK.

Downey can give you advise on how to make your truck handle BETTER and not handle like crap like those other brands stuff.
