I wish I could get my hand on some more OEM’s. I have 2 OEM’s on the truck, 3 autozone spares, and 2 stub shafts for if I break a CV and don’t swap a spare in.

I’m getting rid of my boxes when I 4-link the rear. Fuckers are so loud. I can never get the stuff in them to stop moving around.

theres mounting shown in the pics of his build plans but he never goes over them in plan. Also his plans were in decimal, which was a pain in the dick converting.

I changed a few things on it just because it seemed excessive and some of the finishes i honestly didnt like.

    Im in it about $560

I hate my allpoo uppers. They need to be greased all the time and at full droop, the top bolt makes contact with the arm and the arm makes contact with the spindle, limiting your travel

Just messy more than anything. I did The set I’m running now in a parts washer and it make everything so much easier. I used diesel fluid for my last go around and it’s still sitting in the garage. Too annoying and messy

@4x4runner2002 were you able to sell any of the rear hatch pieces on the truck you parted out? I'm replacing my hatch because it is dented and all messed up from when I bought it and wondering if anything was worth selling (besides the hatch wing).

Typically they come with all the internals, but most places want $300+ for one and my color is harder to find for some reason. I got one off craigslist a month ago, but had my brother pick it up and it was complete crap. Dents everywhere, giant 8x3" section of paint missing and looked worse than the one currently on it. Pissed, but it was dark when my brother got it and I didn't give him any instructions. Now there is one 1 hour away for $100 that is in perfect shape. Hoping to pick it up tomorrow and make something back for the junk one.

The spoiler will sell for sure. Some of the other stuff might sell if you throw it on ebay. I sold lots of stock parts on ebay for pretty good money. Broken power antenna (stated it was broken, still got $30 for it), Stock front 2 skid plates (beat them straight with a hammer, spray painted, sold for $150), stock gas tank skid (sold for $120), stock roof rack cross bars ($100), stock radio with broken backlight ($25). I was amazed at what people would buy. If a 3rd gen pops up at the only yard that lets you pull your own parts around here I might just have to go raid it and put it all on ebay haha

I only had it for less than 30 days. That was my limit.

I seem to remember you really liked your wiper blades. My inspection’s due and mine have just about shit the bed. What ones are you running?

Yeah I'm always reluctant to post on ebay due to their and paypals cut, but worth it for some things. Might have to try that and just scrap the shells.

    Good call.

Bay Area pricing. All of the bigger yards are in Sacramento, but that's a bit far. You also have one of the more common colors. Imperial Jade Mica isn't as common and fetches a higher price. There are white, black and silver hatches all over for $100 or so.

Feel you on the price of some color matches stuff. Even finding color matched shit for me sucks. A lot.

Yup and painting is even more expensive. I’d have to say the autumn blaze and glacier colors would suck to get parts for.

Yeah I've got silblades. I got them on Amazon I think. They're awesome. They're silicone so they leave a coating on the windshield like rainx, and they last forever. Mine have been on there for almost 4 years now and they still work perfect.

Agreed. Or Evergreen Pearl parts when you recently had it repainted hahaha.

Side note: the guys on the Facebook page that post a picture of their $6k 4Runner with some Discount Wheels and KO2’s asking the group if he should left his wife drive it sometime. Like wtf, your truck is legitimately built out of Legos. What is possibly going to happen that you can’t fix or replace. I let random whores drive my 4Runner all the time. I let a British foreign exchange student drive it in dirt and he almost rolled it haha. Maybe I just care less than them
