I have a Thinkware F800 front and rear camera hardwired to my truck. I got it bc another member here had an older model... the F700 or F770 (don’t recall) and he posted pictures when someone tried to break in his truck. The pictures were very clear. License plate and the perp’s face had very high resolution.

I'm looking at picking up a BlackVue too, and got stuck at the Power Magic Pro portion of my order. What type of fuse tap did you end up selecting? There's mini fuse, low-profile, ATO, etc...

Also, how would you rate the install? I'm AWFUL with anything remotely electronic

I have the ThinkWare F770 front and rear hard wired in my Tacoma. I am considering ordering the BlackVue DR750S-2CH for my M240i. Are you happy with the BlackVue? Please post a video from the BlackVue.

You need 2 "add a fuse".... they are the Mini...low profile...!! Install 1 on the Cig. lighter for Acc.(truck ON) use and install the other one on the "hazard light" fuse....(truck OFF)

Here's the ones I used... PS... I have the DR650S-2 ch and like it a lot.

are you talking about the truck 12 volt battery or the camera battery ? If it is the camera battery , do you have a truck power source that starts and stops the camera with the truck ?

You are correct. If you keep your camera plugged in the USB port, you should be fine.

I have the Garmin Dash Cam 55. I painted the orange ring black. Very happy with it. I wired it up with the parking cable so it records when it sees motion while parked. Hasn't killed my battery yet.
