Interesting. yeah it's prob about 8-9 to fix what's up with my IFS right now....if I get a check from insurance, i doubt it'd be above 8... Why not just SAS? I realistically could spend 6 right now, more than that is pushing it and i might have to just fix most of what's wrong with the IFS and then finish it later.

forsure. i'd love to do it myself but i don't know where to start and it'd be irresponsible. I'd rather pay one of you cats from the forum before I have a shop do it though.

I was thinking about adding 240 to my garage but just found out today during inspection the panel is full :(
And new gas line to garage should be a fairly straight run for my heater, but i'll need to redo the ceiling drywall in the basement since it's finished.

I got a 240 oil filled heater in my tiny garage. That thing will flat cook you out of there in the dead of winter.

Long story not really short: the wife and I decided that wheeling would have to wait for a while. Kids were too fucking annoying in the truck. I barely drive the taco, other than to the cabin on the weekends.
I started exercising, running, lifting, lost 40lbs. It led to me buying a mountain bike. One day A couple weeks ago, I took the truck to work and seriously, not shitting you, got distracted for one second by the sunrise and rear ended a plumbers van.
Totaled his rig. Mine got originally quoted at about $5k in damage. When they start looking closer there is a small kink in one of the front frame horns and it is on the inside of the frame. Toyota says the frame isn’t to be heat treated, so the shop can’t fix it, and the cost of replacing the frame totaled the limo.
I was to receive $19,xxx for my truck, and after buying back from salvage for just over $7k I have her back. I have it at a shop to have the frame fixed by a shop who will let me sign a waiver for fixing it against Toyota recommendations. I will have to have the frame reinforced by a welding shop (which I also found) and I will get it done for $3k. After all that I will have about $8k extra. I wish I could spend it all on the truck. I could spend it in a second. But I’m gonna use to to pay down credit cards, but a 10yr anniversary vacation for the wife and I and settle for a front locker and re-gearing. Then after tax time or maybe this summer I can do tires and upgrade suspension.
Anyway, Eric, fucking good to see you’re still here even though I dropped off the face. You still trying to convert everyone to your unicorn tires that you can’t even buy when you blow one out in Moab? ;)
