Hello, my 02 tacoma SR5/TRD doublecab was vandalized
(I'm so bummed:() and it has 16" 265 70R 16 wheels. I found a local guy with a set of 06 16" 265 70R 16 wheels and tires. Will these fit on my truck. Thanks for any help you might have.

EDIT...The replacement wheels are 08 Sport not 06's.

Yes... 99% sure they will fit.

Thanks you guys for the information. I bought the 08 Tacoma sport wheels with Dunlop AT20 GrandTrek P265/65R 17 tires, they fit perfectly on my 02 Double cab SR5/TRD and my truck has never driven as smoothly. I have 85,000 miles on it and it actually feels like a new truck, very surprising to me! I have been running Firestone Wilderness LE tires and have always thought the poor ride and poor handling was just the nature of my truck. I think I will send an email to Dunlop and tell them what an approvement their tire have made to my truck.

    Thanks again for the help.

    P.S. My mistake, They we're 08's not 06's.

Please post a pic of your truck with the Sport wheels...I'm on the search for a set of sport take offs for when my current 2004 tires/wheels are ready to be retired... Funny I have not seen any examples though. I know they will fit, as you have confirmed, butnot exactly sure how they are going to look?????????

There is a bit of rain today but the photo turned out ok. I really like the look of the wheels and just to re-cap, the tires have literally made it ride like a new truck. The most noticable improvement has been the noise level inside is like a luxury sport sedan, (heated front and rear leather seats are nice in Utah).

    Hope this helps you decide:

I see the picture is blurry so I will try again when the weather clears>

Miles on tires? Damage to wheels? Cost?

the tires will have around 40k on them, been rotated every 5k... the wheels have been hand cleaned by myself every week for the last 2 years so they look new. i will take pics when the time comes to sell them. as of right now im lookin at 400 with tires and wheels. of course price will be negotiable
