Everyone here buying crappy leather seat covers to have katzkin replace them for free in 3...2...1....

 

Holy c**p. You should drive around with a big Katzkin ad on your truck for a year to show your appreciation.
Now I'm off to complain about the Magnuson supercharger I don't have and hope they install a free one.

Anything is possible but, I think it's unlikely. OP has decent message count. Scammers usually have low counts. Skimming his posts, I didn't seem him mentioning Katzkin prior to this. However, if it is true, then it's genius.

My guess? The dealership and Katzkin have a history together and somebody somewhere told the OP that Katzkin was in the truck.. and since there was so much bad word of mouth about this experience, they felt it was best to replace it. They turned lemons into lemonade.
Either way, nice work all the way around. I was surprised from the get-go because I have owned and seen so many Katzkin interiors and they all have been incredibly nice and durable.

 

Completely possible. And I totally want to believe it. But there are holes in the story. Maybe I am reading it wrong but he said he paid 2500 dollars for it all. Then said later that the original owner put the interior in the truck and the dealer told him it was katzkin. I guess when we all see before and after pictures we will know for sure. And again I really really want this to be true because truly great customer service is few and far between. And this would be beyond great service. And I would totally not question spending the money for their leather. Now maybe that’s what they are think and by giving one free interior they are gaining all of us as customers. If so good for them.

So @Katzkin Leather Official joined TW on Tuesday to respond to OP, then the next day replace his whole interior for free? Guess that’s what it takes to keep your reputation up. Tells me they sell a lot of Tacoma kits.

I'm so glad I did not go with clazzio's and went with katzkins.
