Had to drive down to the freight company today to pick something up.... then got home and started cutting...Then bolted it up! may have taken 4.5 months but looks pretty sweet, still need to oblong the mount holes a little more to get it to align right where i want but for now i'm happy with it.

Thanks! They are retrofits. I wish I could recommend the company that did them but I’ve had a lot of trouble with them over the past 2 years. Still love how they look though.

Dont feel like making a dedicated thread, but my truck has a oil leak. Not sure where from though, looks like the front passenger side axle shaft is the leaker, not sure how to tell , but thats where the most drips are at and thats the highest point i saw oil at, opinions and suggestions???????

Needless to say i havent owned it 3 whole years yet and its only at 70k miles so im pretty fucking pissed.

Picked up my sway bar from storage. Originally removed it when I was running the 887s, but now that I'm back on factory coils its going back on; a little too much body roll for me.

You'll be fine. I ran a 3 inch spacer lift for 80k miles and now have 886's for about 10k miles and still have original OEM uca's. Never had a problem....yet

I'd delay leaving for a day & get to the bottom of that. It's a lubricant, leaks only get worse. Don't want to ever be stranded @ the mercy of having to fix it.

Although I'm not sure of the 885 with that bumper. I have the Demello baja hoop in steel with winch.
Even with the 886's, I'd like to have a bit more height for my 285/65/18 tires...they're almost but not quite a 33.

Got a cover for the air injection pump, or whatever that thing is called. It should keep the unifilter from most dirt/mud when offroading. Part number is for an FJ, but it fit and was cheaper than the one for the tacoma. Also put the stock intake back on. Keep an eye for an AFE CAI in the for sale section20180126_184432.jpg 20180126_184600.jpg 20180126_184743.jpg

How many of you are running license plates "under" your front bumper?
If so, have you, or anyone you know been pulled over?

Asking cause my (police paranoid) Father thinks it'd cause me trouble from "Johnny Law"

Same, it's been like that for 6 months or so, I'm just seeing if anyone has had this issue before

I was running mine below the front bumper on the factory non-accessory skid plate facing forward:
    IMG_3001.jpg

I was pulled over recently by a Virginia State Trooper for no front plate. As seen above it was installed and he told me that while I was within code: attached to the front of the vehicle, it needed to be higher. I said it's higher than yours. We both laughed and he said have a good day. I was completely respectful to the young trooper. This was the first time in 3.5 years and 100,000 since I moved the plate down there after a run in with a deer. I have since moved it up higher thanks to @ACEkraut low mount no drill license plate bracket:

Amazing looking truck!! What are you doing with the 887s? If they're for sale I may be interested.
