The main point of the aux panels is to clean up the wiring. As you add more things, you start getting a rat's nest coming off the battery, and you start running out of places to mount relays. It isn't needed if you're happy with how everything is run. If you want to clean it up then look into it.

 

Has anyone used the 4x6 stall mats from tractor supply for a bed mat? I'm thinking of getting one tomorrow...and maybe the 54 inch farm jack

 

Actually, some have mounted the long bed version on the short bed using the rear bolts instead of the rail.

I havent, but I've heard tractor supply has a FEW options but those horse stall mats are fairly heavy (~100lbs)

I heard that you can buy 3/8" - 1/2" rubber mat by the foot at Tractor Supply and it's way cheaper and way lighter.

(I've been looking into making one for mine)

but the price that TS wants for a 48" farm jack compared to the actual "Hi Lift" brand is only like $10 (unless they have updated since I last looked) so for that nominal difference, I'd just go hi lift

it would have to be like $25+ cheaper for me to consider the TS brand
