Living on a island in Alaska helps lol...Sure it will shoot back up when I get stationed somewhere else.

odd on why a lot of people are so high. I am currently stationed in Louisiana and I pay $160/month on my new 2018 Offroad 4x4 w/ $1000 deductible full coverage. That's without my active duty discount (Louisiana gets additional military discount on insurance due to it being considered worse state to drive). W/ my active duty discount it's $130, but I am only 23 which I hear once I reach 25 it'll go done even more.

The only time I had a high insurance rate like OP was when I had a 1 yr old "sports" car at age 18.

Damn, that’s more than double mine and I’m in so-cal, mid-thirties, decent driving record (few speeding tickets and red light camera ticket). Mine is with State Farm. That’s with a lot of coverage too on my 18 Pro. Maybe found a reason why TSS is a good upgrade-lower insurance?

Was paying 53 dollars a month for the past year for full coverage (USAA). And a 250 deductible. But it went up to somewhere in the 90’s. 2 cars on my policy were involved in at fault accidents a year ago so it finally reflected in my premium. All and all though I’m paying 300 a month for renters, firearms and auto insurance on 2 cars full coverage.

Yeah, tell me about it... How is it a $4 a month difference from a 2018 Ford Raptor.... Sky high for Tacomas apparently

Your age has a lot to do with rates. I turned 70 last year, never any accidents or claims, but mine went up $60 a year. Guess that isn’t too bad as it is only $5.00 more a month. I pay $326 for 6 months on my 2016 Tacoma. I have full coverage and the higher liability coversge to protect my assets.

My '16 went up slightly from my'07 Tundra. All told I am insuring 5 vehicles: '16 Tacoma, '09 Malibu (wife), '11 Wrangler (24 yr old daughter), '11 Ranger 4x4 (19 year old son), and my '68 Ford Bronco (6 months full coverage & 6 months 'storage). This costs me around $3000/year which is about $250 per month........$300/month for 1 vehicle sounds insane to me!!!!
