    My 2nd Gen W150 is at 81k and it's 33 (34 next month!)

    My 2nd Gen D100 is at 103K and it's 49

    But, neither '2nd Gen' is a Tacoma, so I'm just an interloper in here causing trouble :D

    Statement is pretty generalized... (see below)

    My Chevy II is over 50 years old... you could eat off my garage floor...

    :threadjacked: Sorry for the thread jack OP @PennSilverTaco... I bought my '66 Chevy II in 2001 w/ 36k originally miles on it. Still had the originally tires on the car and didn't leak a drop of fluid out of the original I-6.

    I put in a built 283 the next year (2002) and have put less than 10k miles on it since (and several of those miles were 1/4 mile at a time :burnrubber:). Nothing more than routine maintenance on her and not a drop of fluid on my garage floor...

    And because:worthless::

    Unless you live in the ''salt belt'' and can literally watch your frame dissolve into powder before your very eyes 1/2 the year......who wants sex with your GF after you dipped her into a vat of acid?

    I wonder why the salt belt doesn't adopt the formula we use here in WA State? It's a non issue here. I'm in an area that sees 100 inches of snow and sub zero temps aren't uncommon. Never heard of anyone having issues with rust.

    I’m 6mi from work 1 way. At one point my fiancé and I had the same mileage on our cars but since I rarely let the Mrs. drive us in her Mazda I’m now like 12k over her. I figured the truck is going to die before I get rid of it so we can keep the miles low on her car and try and retain some value on it. The truck’s value will hold pretty well.
