Ok, so I have a problem I’m not really sure how to fix. I have bilstein 5100s all around but the ones in the back are maxed out giving it no room to travel, so it is very rough. The ones in the front are set on a lower notch so they ride alright, but I have about a 2 inch lean from back to front. How do I go about raising the front 2 more inches and also getting some ride back in the rear?DB0CB1F6-E7A0-485D-9A59-FB788B77B0E9.jpg F68B1A3A-DAB4-47D5-9ADC-8D56C5552D8C.jpg

swap em for some better shocks/springs then, other than that its the only way to achieve the 2" in the front. Not even gonna mention spacers :bananadead:

How much lift in the rear and with what? Standard 5100's are only good for 1-1.5" lift in the rear. If you are over that then you need the extended version.

I talked to a guy from toytec and he said to get different coils but that still wouldn’t solve the problem in the rear.

need to learn more about this stuff
I was under the impression the rear 5100s can’t be notched to different settings. Did you put front 5100s in the back?

Rear lifts should be accomplished by aal.

What are your measurements front and rear? Do you have an add a leaf in the rear as well?

    I mean… it’s a Ford, you don’t care
they are rear 5100s. if you raise the front more, than the weight distribution will lower the rear, giving you more rear travel. that being said, I have 5100's on an AAL in the back with no issues. other option would be to get rid of the block in the back, which would lower the truck making it more level and give it more travel...

If I took the block out and added a leaf would it retain about the same height?

Without the measurements for how much lift is actually on the truck everything will just be an assumption.

it may, but it appears you already have an add a leaf in the leaf pack, so no need to add another one. removing the block alone should solve your issue but it will decrease the height a bit. if youre not willing to decrease the height, then buy longer shocks.

Where do you guys see a block? Isn’t that big flat bar the factory overload? My 2017 has that bar from the factory.

Yes. The AAL is the proper way to create lift in the rear without using a block or getting a whole new leaf pack.
