As a spouse of a Military member I thought you would qualify for the same bennies as your wife?

 

For the most part yes. Other things including buying guns, no. There was a congressman trying to get a law passed awhile back so spouses of military could by guns in any state. Haven't heard anything from it though. My wife and I switched places. I left the military and she went in. Now im the dependapotamus

 

I'm in NY state and have had a posess on premisis,hunting and target shooting permit since 02.A concealed carry is an endorsement on the license. When I got my permit it was good untill revoked. Recently our shitty gov Coumo made it so you have to recertify every 5 years for your permit. The state didn't say anything or mail anything to any permit holders and the way I found out was talking to several police officers. They consensus was that the state wanted the permit holders to lose there permits by passing this bullshit law and keeping it quiet. All so we are only allowed to carry 7 rounds in a 10 round mag. End of rant.

 

Been on the fence for years; This is my first GLOCK purchase, I'm very happy with the decision and it's a very, functional, utilitarian package.

 

Where do you find 10mm ammo I haven't seen any in my area? Isn't a longer .40 cal round?

Going to sell my glock 43 to buy a gen 5 glock 19 through the blue label program. Free upgrade really

 

I haven't had any issues finding 10mm around here. Pricing is reasonable IMHO
Yes, they are a longer than a .40.
I'm currently running 180 gr. Sig ammo. Also have 200 gr. Buffalo loads on standby.

Why so close to the target? Anyone could get a tight group that way?

 

Pics are from 2 different classes. The first 2 were Advanced Combat Pistol Marksmanship where we ranged from 10 to 40 yds. The last 3 were from 0-5 Feet Gunfighting. It was more about getting used to the back blast from the muzzle and improvised shooting positions/grips when contact shooting. the bulk of the 0-5' class was done with airsoft, red guns, and Nok training blades.

 

Like it a lot I don't typically shoot auto's I'm a revolver guy all models .

 

VA doesn't have state income tax, has a lowish sales tax, but has a personal property tax (which is why the dog gets taxed)

Basically if youre the type of person that doesn't buy a lot of shit, youd pay a lot less in taxes in VA compared to most states.

 

West Va calls it a luxury tax trailer(s) quad(s) boat(s) dog(s) etc(s).

 

Unless you are paying the extra 5.5% in VA Beach...couldn’t believe I was paying a totaled 11.5% tax on dinner
