Took it to the dealer to let them listen to the howling rear end. Took the tech for a ride, he said it sounded normal for a Tacoma. Taking it back next week to let the shop manager listen.

Cheap Chinese knock-off Pro grill came in today.

I like it much better than the old chrome one.

No. They will rub. 265/70/17 biggest you can go and they will rub front mudflaps at full lock.

If you don’t have any lift they will almost surely rub. I have 2.5” lift and they still rub on the cab mount unless you adjust the caster (alignment setting) to 3 or higher.

Oh that's going to happen, might wait till I put on the new front skidplate, or it starts bugging me on a day when it's either not snowing or raining. :crapstorm:

In theory it's supposed to save 1-2 mpg and cut down on wind noise, and I do seem to be doing a fair bit of highway driving while I collect parts for my truck, well that's what I tell myself so I'm not under my truck in a snowstorm removing it. It'll be a garage emblem by early spring. :bananadance:

Got some almost new Duratrac's sitting in the garage, and going to look at some 4Runner rims this week, should look sweet on the truck and help a little bit offroad from the stock tires.

You will almost surely have an issue with rubbing on the cab mount without a lift.

    Too much.
Loaded up a micro-usb with music, renamed it so it would show up as "Taco Noise" rather than "USB". Took the little cover door off and put it in a safe place.

I prob lost about 1mpg, but that’s nothing comparing to how much better the truck looks now!

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Looks good. Does the glare off the hood hinder your night vision? Especially since it's white?

Got over 50F today! Broke out the flip flops and shorts and finally put on some of these cheap mods sitting in my garage... AVS vent visors, Red TACO inlay, and velcro to cover Sun Visor warnings.
