    Last weekend I painted my aluminum Mobtown skid. It wasn't very warm so the paint job didn't come out great. Installed today.

    If I could do it again I would have left it bare. Even with sanding, etching primer, more sanding and 3 coats of enamel, it was getting scratched up just from installing. The paint won’t last long at all.

    Yep, unless it's powder coated even driving over heavy brush will remove paint.

    It pops right off. The cover on mine is flexable/pliable and i just kind of twisted it.

    I would do the flush mounts in the bumper (those lights are freaking cool) and then evaluate from there.
    If they don't produce a ridiculous amount of light, add the ditch lights!

    put on the door sill protectors. The sills where already getting scratched. Sorry for the horrible pictures. I never seem to work on this thing during the day.
