So reading those threads this photo seems the simplest..what ya think it’s that oem sat antenna wire @crashnburn80 showed me hooked up with aftermarket Sirius antenna with a small adapter..does that seem logical and would work?B29A5213-EBB0-4A7C-8301-1178C2230249.jpg

Seems logical and should work. Personally I dislike the awkward aftermarket sat antennas, especially if you have an OEM sat antenna available. Where do you mount it? Roof is best but how to get the wire out there and attach it?

I’d call/email that company I referenced earlier and get a quote to have them make you a connector wire, the other member said theirs was $80. If you buy an aftermarket anntenna, the conversion wire from stock to aftermarket antenna and any adapter, your probably looking at a similar cost.

Yeah preferred option would be to use shark fin, but can’t seem to locate the original wires and the cut wire is all wrapped up in main harness for entire wire scheme for radio..and as far as soldering I heard it’s nearly impossible with these antenna gauge wires ugh what a headache, wish I could just locate that connector box..but anyway thanks for everyone’s help I’m definately farther than where I started I appreciate it!

These guys can make a plug and play solution to plug your OEM radio into the OEM sat antenna connector box. Quoted from the other thread.

So that goes from back of head unit to the connection point at drivers kick panel to connect? Pretty much what wire I assume is broken? Exactly what we are looking for just need to locate it haha no clue why I couldn’t find it

Yeah, agreed that part is a little confusing. No wires plugged into that blue box?

So this seems to be about in the location of the other threads I seen..the connection box is different but I’m going to look at it closer tomorrow as it is the only thing close in that whole kick panel..just doesn’t seem right not sure tho2D446D84-0E0A-4FB3-946C-3A20477B9A40.jpg

Hard to tell in that photo, but in the other photo it is the plug at the bottom of the blue box. In your photo there is a plug in the bottom of the blue box, though looks slightly different and like it may have multiple wires.
