It's the little places that have ER here. The big guys are sold out. The one place selling for $100 probably won't get that for his bottle. I don't think, anyways. He has 4 bottles of Little Book for $100/EA as well and, while that's still overpriced, if I'm paying $100 for a marked up bottle, it's Little Book 10 times out of 10.

Could be a market, though, at $60/EA in this area! I wouldn't be a buyer at that price, but I think plenty others would be

Makers was made (seriously) for the ladies.
Your wife should become an Ambassador. I did. No real perks just fun to say you are and get invites to special events. And your name on a barrel.

Sweater two years ago, scarf a year ago. And a cheap decal holiday themed label...

Sounds like what I got for being a "Friend of Laphroiag" for Christmas this year; a couple of pins and an ornament shaped like one of their bottles.

Looking to celebrate a little. Recommendations for a bottle between the 50 to 100 dollar mark?

Edit: leaning toward bourbon but all recommendations are welcome

What do you like? Scotch, Bourbon, Rye, Irish, Canadian?

Dark Horse Reserve if you want something traditional, or Belle Meade Sherry Cask if you want something a little different. Tried them both at the company holiday party this year (since it's an open bar I was doing some top-shelf sampling :D ) and they're excellent. I actually enjoyed the Belle Meade more, but not sure if I'd want an entire bottle of it. On the other hand, it'd be a good special treat now and then. :notsure:

I'm a fan! Its way out of my price range for a regular bottle to keep in the house, but is definitely a nice holiday/celebratory/special occasion type scotch!

I'm new to decent bourbon/whisky, but so far the best I've had has been Blanton's and Hibiki Harmony. Both fit in the lower end of your budget and and very tasty. I much prefer them to the 12/15/18 year old scotches I have/have tried. Only problem is they can be hard to find.

:spy: Bought some Eagle rare due to all the recommendations here lately

$31 and the last bottle on the shelf.

I was debating between that at a glenfiddich 12 on sale for $22.

Decided to give the bourbon a whirl.

I also bough a bunch of craft beer otherwise I would have bought them both :anonymous:
