    I have never made my own hamburger patties, but I do love me some Slater's 50/50. Not sure if that is only a local fancy burger restaurant.

    The way I see it is that a burger is a sum of its parts. Very multi-layered where every ingredient adds to it, or can over-do it, so gourmet patties will not make up for shitty avocados and whatever else you add to it.

    Smoking a chunk of meat, you enjoy it on the merit of the cook itself and the prep work.

    Looks amazing. I got a 3-pack of St. Louis ribs for King of the Hammers. Camp ribs always taste good.

    Top Rounds are still on sale so tomorrow we're having roast beef and mustard potato's. Set the Sous Vide and spiced the meat and in a nice 134* bath for the next 18 to 19 hrs. Tomorrow it'll get a quick char on the BGE and then we dine.

    A couple pads of butter
    Black pepper
    Granulated garlic
    Onion powder
    Tony Chachere's Cajun seasoning
    Fresh rosemary and thyme
