3rd Gen Magnetic Gray Thread

Third tacoma I have had here. Really excited to purchase, traded in my 2008 access cab sr5 4x4 after having some serious transfer case issues. Had our first child in August so, adding the extra back door didn't hurt. Added a tri-fold bed cover at the dealer ship and am hoping to trade out the 245s for some 265 70 r16s soon. Have always been a BFG A/T fan, but havent had to purchase any in quite some time and I am less than excited about how much they cost these days. It is looking like Hankook AT-Ms and Cooper A/Ts are good options. Also really enjoying the gas milage with this new one, but that may be just the fact that I have never owned a new vehicle before.

Any all terrain tire recommendations are welcome, only real off roading I do is driving on the beach most weekends. sorry for the horrid dealership photo.

 

Do yourself a favor and check out the Falken AT3-Ws.... Great tire for a great price!

 

Not really secrets my friend. I just have been around this for 25 yrs... Dealers will give you invoice plus all their other incentives if you insist on it. The NEW car business is whored out by almost every dealer. It's all about quantity anymore.

 

Yes. I have the falken wildpeak at3w in 265/75/16 p rated and they are amazing. Plus they look gnarly especially for an all terrain tire.

I'll second this.. Falkens look great, perform great, and you can get them in 26/75r16 for under $500
