Oh that’s what I meant! The two lower bj bolts. The tie rod end I could see being a huge pain though if rusted.

Ok!! Then I just missed the tie rod part. Sometime when you try to unscrew the nut, something strips somewhere and it is getting a real pain to take it off. If you keep it on you just have to give a good pull on the spindle toward you and push the axle toward the truck and it come right out lol. Have to say it is easier if you are 2. Being alone I rushed a bit haha

    Todays Rant - Princess Auto

Is it just me, or am I the only one who finds the layout of this store ridiculous? I go in looking for a 35mm deep socket for my impact. so I head over to the isle that has all the ratchets and sockets and start looking. no 35mm to be found. alright that sucks but what ever, so I continue to venture around the store looking for other items on my list. I come across the specialty automotive isle, and low and behold there more sockets, like 6 diff sizes but not the one I need, alright, how come these weren't with all the other sockets? oh well what ever, and the venture continues down a few more isles, then all of a sudden as I walk down the isle that houses everything u need for air compressor fittings and grease gun fitting I hit the damn mother load of impact sockets, I end up finding my 35mm, but god damn had to walk the entire store to find it! why in the hell don't they just have all the sockets in one isle!? if I wasn't looking for anything else I would have walked out of the store after not finding it in the first isle I was in and I would have bought it at Canadian tire! makes no sense to me at all.

    Rant over.

Damn that’s dumb. My favorite is Home Depot and their app. Just search for what you want and it’ll tell you the aisle and bay number. It’s so easy to find stuff!

that's awesome! hahaha not sure if Canadian tire has an app but if u go on their site it will tell you where it is, but that store is easy to navigate. ALL tools are in one section, specialty automotive tools are in automotive section. just makes too much sense haha Home Depot they have a tool section but they also disperse their tools into the section that it applies too, plumping tools are in the plumbing section which again makes sense. but princess auto, its like, wth is this doing here I just saw a huge section of this shit 2 isles over now theres some here too?

I stopped at my local autoparts store to grab a brake light bulb for my atv, and took the time to ask for front end parts here are my notes (yes I know I write pretty bad haha)

good prices for BJ's, half the cost of OEM but they also wont last as long, might get a couple years out of them at most. outter tie rod ends are about the same cost as OEM, and I wouldn't recommend anything other then OEM for cam hardware. there a couple threads on here where people tried a few different companies and the quality was not as good and the tabs actually wore out pretty quick.

Good to know tho! Actually I found that the price was really low for a cam bolt "kit" lol might give a try to moog when my oem will be done, even if comments are not the best. I'll make my own opinion on them. I want greasable lol

yeah, I mean for the price, even if you only get a few years out of them, that is not bad at all

Well, finally made it home after quite the journey. Finally got to meet some great lads and enjoyed a good lunch after swapping some parts with @EatSleepTacos @Kemosabe @pmstoy10 @fatfurious2 and @Sasquatchtaco. Hope you guys enjoy the routine compliments of Louis. I must say I love how it's harder to get back into my own country then it is to get into the US. They emptied the truck completely and made sure every nut and bolt were accounted for. But long story short we are now home and happy. Got my Mobtown skids, Bilstein coils and shocks, and my URD Y-pipe. These damn skids are beefy af to say the least! They will hold up really well on the trail that's for sure. Should be interesting to install them tho hahaha

 yes... yes we did lol but all together, even with gas and taxes on the way back it was still cheaper then shipping. those skids would have been an arm and a leg to get shipped up here, URD wanted 250 bucks and that thing only weighed 20lbs lol
