I’m gonna be honest that did not once cross my mind ha!
I’m going to order the flush mount. I could see someone stealing the ditch lights around here. Thanks everyone!

    First rule of that forum...

    1. You must have a minimum 50 posts (legitimate posts, no spamming the Off Topic) before you may place an ad in the B/S/T section. If you place an ad here without the prerequisite 50 posts, your ad will be deleted.

Not just today, but over the last week.

Wet Okoles for the front seats, thanks @RIDERRED67! This looks way better than the stock gray, matches with the exterior color really well. Adds a little bit of cushiness too, stock was a little stiff. Hopefully these will regulate the heat from the factory heated seats, which come in This porridge is too cold, This porridge is too hot, and My Ass Is On Fire.

    Some patches for the headliner.20180127_145651.jpg

Not pictured, replaced temp plates with the real deal and derped the grill and surround. 3 coats on the back, and 6 on the front, 3.87 cans total, and it looks 1000% better than the stock faux chrome.

True story. In the time since I picked up the truck, I've seen maybe 2-3 LEO over the 1500mi I've driven. Picked up registration 2 days early, but it was dark when I got home, and was to busy to on plates. The day after they expired, I saw 6 squad cars, including 2 that were right behind me, 1 on the way to work, 1 on the way home. Put plates on when I got home.

Started off changing out the red for super white all the way around... Thanks to @rrentrop

Then I looked at an umbrella my wife got me last week, realized the purple trim wasn't going to work. So I painted it white...

    20180127_192814.jpg

Now on to the only actual problem I have and have ever had with my Taco... I'm guessing since it has been a cold winter, and Toyota uses cheap adhesive... I ended up fixing the driver side window channel.

I will be leaving the tape on until tomorrow afternoon, to be safe... Would have never known, had the factory adhesive not started popping with every bump.

I could have taken it to the dealer I'm sure. Felt more comfortable fixing it myself.

Mine was messed up at purchase, both doors. That is one of the things scheduled to be fixed at my 5000 check-up.

I made it past 30k miles before mine was messed up. I'd definitely take it to the dealer if I had just bought it.

started building my platform for the bed. it’s built over the top of the bedslide. with a cutover for the snowmaster. to slide out. the center of the shelf has a vertical support that’s about 1” off the bedslide. i’m going to run soft durometer skateboard wheels to roll on top of the bedslide. supporting the shelf and allowing the slide to move out freely. solar batteries and controller remain at the rear of the bed.
