5100 rear lift?

    DCSB 12 slightly lifted Tacoma
    Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
    Sooo, while I had momma in a good mood I bought a set of 5100’s and 2” AAL’s.

    Thought I had researched enough....

    Now I see that the 5100’s are good for 0-1” of lift.

    Do I try to cancel the AAL order?

    Can I still make this work?

    My head is literally frazzled beyond way beyond what’s normal,,,, even for me from searching and reading shock/AAL applications over and over and,,,


    Feel free to let me know that I jumped the gun, but dammit, I’m not as good as I once was but I’m as good once as I ever was. I worked hard to get her in the letting me buy stuff mood!!

    I would cancel the AAL or contact the company and ask them to switch the 5100 order.

    ADS extended travel, 14" 700 lb springs, Total Chaos UCA/LCA, Dakars. 37/12.50r17 Pitbull Radial Rocker. SCS 17" SR8. 4.56s with f&r ARB lockers. Relentless sliders, full skids, debadged. 35% tint on all windows. Katzkin leather w/ heated seats
    I had the 5100s for around 90k miles. You can get up to 2.5 inches of lift or down to stock height out of them. They where good for the price! I originally went with blocks in the rear. Some people have mixed feelings about blocks but I never had any troubles. They were only 1.5 if I remember correctly. So I had the 5100s maxed at 2.5" and 1.5" blocks.I don't have many pictures with that setup but I hope it helps. Feel free to ask any questions

    5100s all around and 2"aal in the rear. Also looking for a set of coils for the front. Pretty happy with the setup so far but I still want to do more work.

    Not sure, but are you asking if the 5100s are going to lift the rear? Because they won't. Shocks don't add lift. You still need the AAL for the rear if you want to lift it.

    5100 @ 0” w/ 2.5” Eibach spring, 1.5" Icon Progressive 3 leaf + 1” block, Procomp Wheels, Grill Thin Lip (Custom Car Grills Mod), Access Tonneau Cover, Pop & Lock Tailgate Electronic Lock PL8521
    You would only have some trouble if you flex the rear suspension while doing some real off roading. The shock will be the limiting factor in the suspension travel.

    Switch to what? 5160’s are only good up to 1.5 inches.
