    Some info on the bulbs.

    The bulbs are H7 55W 12V Halogen Xenon Clear Bulbs. White Light. Hi/Low Beam. Please note these headlights do not support HIDs or LEDs. It voids the warranty.

    Well, not sure. That was an email reply I got when I asked about the bulb specs. I imagine anything you do to alter the light would void it. Good email support, they got back to me on a weekend night.

    Is the black vent you are talking about the aesthetic lower piece of trim that is at the junction of the headlight/grille/front bumper?

    Yes that is the piece. The oem housings have then attached to the housing and the new passenger one had it attached, but driver new one was missing it

    The one I ordered only works with factory drl's which are the off road, sport and limited I believe. There are guys on here that have made them work with the sr5 model

    SR5 its an option to add them and all models above that have them stock. If you have fog lights from the factory you have the DRLs. At least on the 18' models...

    I just took one this morning since it was the first time I have seen them on when dark out. From my drive in they seem to be aimed pretty high so I will have to adjust them lower to see how much better they can be. They look good, to a noob's eye, but I don't think they are perfect.
