Group Buy: 2005 - 2017, Dbl Cab, Short Bed only
    Ends: March 25, 2018!!

Extended range fuel tanks, Australian company, Long Range Automotive: 129 litre/~34 gallon fuel tank: https://longrangeautomotive.com.au

Helps beat sticker shock on fuel with less fill ups. I'm in for the range and limited trips to ethanol free gas stations. These tanks are direct fit, replacements for the originals. All mounting hardware as well as installation instructions are included. https://longrangeautomotive.com.au/file/12729/536

Importer, Cruiser Brorhers, LLC, will handle the logistics of importing fuel tanks. Cost to Tacoma World members is: $1395.00/tank if referenced at checkout: Tacoma World - Jimbo623. Estimated arrival time from end of Group Buy - (March 25, 2018) is 8 weeks. Tanks are shipped via water freight, originating from Melbourne Australia and delivered to Stockton, CA. From there, shipping cost to your door, varies by location. Estimated shipping costs, according to Cruiser Brothers, ($200 - western states - $300 eastern states). Payments would be made through Cruiser Brothers:
    https://www.cruiserbrothers.com

The current "Product list" through Cruiser Brothers, does NOT show these tanks but, I have been informed they will shortly, as this product just became a part of their inventory.

    [IMG][IMG]
Mounting locations have limited these tanks to ONLY DCSB trucks, retrofitting to fit your truck can be done with some effort or so I've been informed. Post or PM me if interested, not just thinking.

No long bed tanks are made by this company. Short bed, and only size available, group buy.

Missed that they were a DCLB. Good attention to detail.

Will this fit 3rd gen Tacoma’s? I know it says it in the op, but I recall reading in the other thread that they would not?
    Thanks!

    Subbed for interest.

BTW: I just shot off an e-mail to Long Range Automotive to confirm or deny weather this tank will fit a USA spec Access Cab Long Bed. I'll share their response here.

I’d check out this other thread with some good info on long beds and 3rd gen. Spoiler alert, not very positive news for either configuration.

I don’t understand why this new thread has much more expensive price compared to the last thread. I want the Tank, but the near 35% increase in price makes me balk at being a committed buyer. Not to mention that this “new” distributor has a very incomplete website with no listing for the product we are supposed to be ordering. This also does not instill confidence.

Please understand that I'm pushing for the best deal with the resources related to this product. The previous dealings were with an individual who no longer works for LRA; since then, a distributor "Cruiser Brothers" has acquired importing rights, leading us to this point. Previously, the tanks were discounted but shipping was above and beyond the tank cost. Now, price listed is delivered to Stockton, CA with the option to ship to your door. Cruiser Brothers is, in addition to taking on legal liability for an imported item, test fitting and adjusting mounting points to fit each Tacoma configuration.

You edited your original post in the first thread on this. You had the original pricing at $900 plus, the shipping costs of around $300. Now you are saying $1400 plus another $200 for shipping. Thats some drastic pricing difference. I want to say I am still interested. I would be able to pick mine up at the port of Stockton(if thats possible), as its not that far from the Bay Area. I will say I am no longer 100% in on this though. Like I said, I want to say Im still interested, but part of me doesn't trust this New vendor based on the quality of their website and the fact that the haven't even populated their site with what they are trying to sell us. Please, don't think of this as me being negative towards you personally, its the direction of the group buy that concerns me and the fact that the price has increased.

Just realized its not that I would be picking it up at the actual port of Stockton, but a dealer in Stockton that sells their product...

Im familiar with Valley Hybrids. Great shop with tons of cool LandCruisers rolling in and out of their shop.

Really!?! That's cool. Maybe if we get a S/C for the 3rd gen I might make the switch.
