So far so good! I am on the hunt for a roadie bike. @riz_atx & @ChadsPride have been helping out tremendously with information.

Its going good. @ChadsPride and @riz_atx have been great in educating me. Yesterday I pulled the ultimate weirdo stunt and walked up to a group of guys/girls cyclists that were stopped in a store parking lot. They gave me some great info and offered to teach me how to bike after I got the bike. Im kind of excited about this whole bike thing. The only thing is that these things are expensive! I started hunting on CL and see if I can score a semi new one. I should really get @fatfurious2 to help me look through CL

Basically looking for a needle in a haystack. Going to find a lot of cheap ones, maybe a decent one eventually. Then these owners typically want close to new cost sometimes. Though you could get lucky. Bikes a odd like that.

What is your budget? What kind of bicycle are you looking for?

I have some certificates that I could sell you for half price. They can only be accepted at certain bicycle shops, so you would need to check. I have used them for tuneups and buying parts. I am looking to get rid of them before they expire, because I am going to sell my fixie/single speed because I dont use it that much.

That’s ballsy, but an effective way to get some pro help! I’m excited to see what you find.

my work pays me $20/month to ride to work. But I dont use them (I usually buy the most expensive CamelBak and then put it on ebay) :anonymous:

Ill get a picture of said certificates to see if you can use them at a shop near you.
