Love cheladas. Now I just drink tomato juice.:bored:

Though it may not be popular, tomorrow is 4 weeks sober (with the exception of one beer on the 20th for my retirement, but I don't count that).

Was gaining way too much weight and drowning my depression with all this medical shit going on.

Congrats, I didn’t finish my second beer tonight, does that count?

For real though, happy it’s working better for you. This a permanent thing or get your life back on track after the accident kind of thing?

My dad has been sober for the last 18 years and it’s quite a feat. Bummed I never got to have 1 beer with him, but he’s a better man. I’m always impressed with people completely quit, not just “drink less”.

No problem! One more thing. At high altitudes, I sometimes had trouble lighting it with the built- in igniter. Bring a BBQ lighter and hold it where the pilot light is to keep it lit.

Not permanent, Now that I'm out, gotta figure out the next step. Don't want to fall down the wrong path that I see a lot of vets go down.

I definitely feel a lot better not drinking though. I'm thinking I'll just save it for special occasions and events.

I was totally alcohol free for ten years when I was working out in the gym six nights a week. It's crazy what alcohol does too your body and totally screws up any heeling process. I started again a few years ago after I got hurt at work. It's a real bitch not to just guzzle. I need to quit again also. I gained four pant sizes in four years. Holy fuck I got big.
Good on ya for getting woahed up. It's a thing to be proud of.

Don't worrryyyyy anytime you and @T4RFTMFW are in town we can go for some wings and drinks at Tilted Kilt.

I wasn't implying that you were one of those vets.. you're a good fella

I was more referring to drinking like I did at TepuiFest... :anonymous:

I figured I'd do 6 months sober and then open it up for special events.. you know.. like Mod Meets/Meats.. though I should say farewell to @LTDSC cause he never makes it to those..

don't listen to the naysayers. this shit is good. you can tell because it's available at any wal-mart. as a bonus, it will clean you out as well as any taco shop.
