Upgrading to an 01-04 center console is still one of my top three mods.

 

When you switch out the console on an 98-00, do you have to change out the old shift boot (and plastic housing), or can you just swap out the console part by itself? Been wondering about that.

 

It's all interchangeable so you can just switch out the center console.

The only thing you have to make sure of is you get the 01-04 bracket that secures the console to the tranny hump. The 98-00 bracket will not work with an 01-04 console.

yea my mickey thompson's are bigger then my old ko2's were new. same size and all. but my ko2's were all terrians and the mickey's are mud terrians

 

Bfgs are also pretty well known to run smaller in general.

 

Threw a coat of Bed liner on the tail gate.
It was getting pretty bad.


This is what I used.

 

I don’t mean to be a negative douche, but I used that stuff on my bumpers in August and it’s already pretty faded and peeling off....

Looks nice though, maybe it’ll be fine there where it isn’t in direct sunlight.

 

Just started on engine mounts and surprisingly the two big bolts that I was sure would be rusted or siezed came loose like nothing haha

 

Question:

Is this too much of a gap between the cv axle and front diff right here? And also, could this be causing a clank when I hit a bump?

 

That amount of gap is normal.

 

No douche-ery taken. The previous owner had the whole bed done through Line-X forever ago and the bed is still pretty good looking. But the tailgate was all chewed up and looked like shit. So me and a buddy pitched in on a gallon and I threw a coat on the tailgate and he’s doing something with his half. Definitely looks better. That’s what I was going for.

 

@Blackdawg 4cyl is much easier to maneuver in...

Hard part is setting it on the mounts so that I can get a bolt through haha

 

That was the part that killed me

 

Got one side completely in where bolts are through but the other side won't sit down far enough...hmm.
