I dont know why I never responded to you comment prior to this.
I'm definitely sorry that you had to experience those issues. Quality control is something that I have been trying to stress since being at Winjet. I am also glad the updated instructions were helpful (i drafted them so if there's anything else you feel like should be added, please do let me know) and I also made a quick installation video for the lights. We do have a new order of lights coming in from over seas that will be coming with a much-needed improvement to the connectors that will prevent the reverse polarity from happening. (truly plug and play without needing to pull the bulb out)

I am very sorry for this again. We do have your lights on their way to us. As soon as we get them back we will be running extensive testing to try and figure out the issue.

Looks good on your truck, do you feel the 6 led turns do it justice? Looks weak on a couple of videos that I've been able to find. Maybe you can post a short clip of yours in action...

Flip the plug and/or check the fuse.

Unfortunately not. If you're checking the fuse under the dash marked tail that's the one. Do you have a test light or voltmeter? Check and see that power is getting up to the plug.

Understandable about flipping the plug. They may have made them only one way by now. I suggested because I had put the plug in upside down and blew the fuse under the dash. Everything was working, but the running lights.

I have the red ones. My gf drove behind me one day and said with the brake lights on and turn signal on it’s tough to see the turn signal and you have to pay attention to notice them in the day. I’m thinking of getting them lightly tinted as the reflection in the housing is probably what’s causing it. 2nd pic is signal, 3rd is brake. Don’t have one with both truck is getting warranty work.

No problem. I think 12v is waaaay easier! I would just check the plug at the taillight first for voltage. If you have it there, you know it's something in the lights. If not, I would check that fuse again. With the voltmeter if you didn't the first time. I need my reading glasses to see the filament in those fuses. You could also jump the wire in the tailights and see if the running lights work. Couple of ways to peel this orange.

Thanks for posting pics, I do feel that a better distinction with the turns would make it a better set of lights. If someone can figure how to rewire the brake lights as brakes/turn signals, it would definitely be a better option. Hint.... Winjet, rewire the lights!!

Sorry I haven't been too active, I keep forgetting to sign on often haha. Honestly, I have had a couple friends that would drive behind me saying that they are somewhat hard to see, but in compared to the red one, they are much easier to distinguish the difference between the turning signal from the "C"ish shape part. I will try to get a video this week, stay tuned.

Here is my review on the winjet

Installed my tail lights last night and all done and so far I'm pretty happy with them, however I did run into some snags.

First of all the fitment and install of the housing went easily and they fit perfect, and if you follow the directions step by step from the video you will not have any of the blown fuse or other issues.
    Video is here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...il-lights-comments-concerns-questions.527744/

Snag #1 was that on the passenger side housing, the section for the reverse light wasn't cut out correctly so the socket for the reverse wouldn't go into the housing at all. I had to enlarge one of the slots a little and once I did that I could get the socket into the housing.
Snag #2 was that on the driver side, for some reason when I turned on the blinker it would blink super fast like it normally would on led bulbs. After messing with with the housing a little, I noticed that the black wire that is connected to the small white clip next to the fan was loose and eventually came unplugged. After resetting that everything worked good and still is this morning.

Outside of those minor snags, everything else went great. As for my review - I would say the only thing for me is that the blinker isn't too bright, but others have also mentioned that already. Brake lights seem to be bright enough and the parking light portion is super bright. So far I like them better than the oem housings.
