Best there is no best. What is the budget, size and such you need?

 

Are you still in wheel size 17 as most Sports are? Or do you have 16 inch on it currently? Cooper ST/MAXX, Falken Wildpeak, Nitto Grapplers, Goodyear Duratrac's. BF Goodrich Ko2's

As most will suggest the Taco trucks don't require an E rated LT tire.....

under normal conditions....SL rated are very popular and weigh 15-20# less

than the same size in a LT rated tire.....tire calculator also good to study

I have Terra Grappler G2’s. No idea if they’re the “best” though, dealer put them on before I bought the truck.

In snow, I've had great results with my Falken Wild-peaks on my personal rig, I rarely have to put it in 4wd. Bfgs aren't bad, but they don't seem quite as good in the snow to me on one of the work trucks, seem to have to work a bit more for bite. Duratracs scare the crap out of me. I've been going along perfectly fine in my work vehicle and every once in awhile it's like they overload on snow or something. You might as well be on oiled glass, zero traction for a few seconds, which is terrifying. Ill never buy those personally and I'd like to convince my boss not to buy them anymore.

 

I currently have the falken wildpeaks. Overall good experience. They have some mileage on them now, and I’m starting to notice they are spinning more often on acceleration, especially in the really cold weather. They don’t balance perfectly.

Had the duratracs before the falkens. They were awesome in the snow, but as an every day tire not so good. Brand new they weren’t bad, but they got progressively worse with mileage. Impossible to balance and absolutely no wet traction.

If you want to ask the oil or filter question, there is the forum to go to specifically for that. Asking it here isnt nearly as productive.

 

The best is different for everyone for me it’s warranty an price. All do well with any big name manufacturer.

Do they have even non-E rated tires in all terrain variants?

 

Had Destination A/T and Duratracs, looove the duratracs, especially if youre in a snow climate.
