There's a lot of shit behind the painted parts so next to the plate isn't a terrible idea. The beauty of the bd lights is that you can always change the lenses/color/pattern whenever you want

Yep. Cheaper to use a Walmart twin air mattress ... I like the sand cause it can also be used under the tires for traction when needed and it’s cheap.

 

Interesting comment...I think that’s why the statement, “to each their own” is made. I think there is a lot of different opinions out there on what is functional and practical. Hence why some people have multiple LED Light Bars mounted on the front of their trucks, along with Fog Lights and Squadrons. All serve a different purpose and exactly why Baja Design is known as “The Scientist of Lighting”. That’s also why Baja Designs has a variety of lens covers such as: High Speed Spot, Driving/Combo, Wide Driving, etc. I’m pretty sure you are one of many that have a variety of these lights mounted to your truck. I don’t think others would classify your truck as “a bunch of unnecessary stuff and a truck that looks tacky bc it has too much going on”. As well as a Suspension System that you once stated, “was extreme overkill” but now you have it and more. Don’t get me wrong, it all has function and looks great but some may think it was added to just add things for the bling and looks of greatness. I do not feel that by adding both it takes away from a very clean look, practicality, or functionality of one’s truck.

 

If you do behind the painted part there is one location that I don’t think you’ll have to do much cutting but both locations would be great. Whatever you feel comfortable with. Look forward to seeing pics. Here is the location I speak of:

I love the performance of Icon, I was just really frustrated they wouldn't sell me the kit for their UCA's. My dealer even called to order and couldn't get the right stuff shipped. I am happy to hear they seem to be better with tacos and are going to take care of you. Like I said, I really liked how they ride, and if I knew I could get good service from them I would consider their products again. I had 52k on my ford with them on one rebuild, jumped the truck and drove over everything I could find as fast as the truck could handle it, the icons ate it up, even if the rest of the truck couldn't take some of the abuse. Are they rebuilding Toyota parts?? They won't rebuild ford stuff anymore, which was another hassel.

 

Was pretty busy this week, but finally had time today to get these done:

Tacoma Vinyl Decal inlays (matches perfectly with my 2018 off-road grille accent black w/chrome trim):

Cargo bar w/ new Plano sportsman trunk and new cooler for perfect fit (no sliding around anymore):

 

Installed oem trailer hitch. Little more in-depth than the aftermarket ones but way cleaner in appearance.

 

It is up to 53 and no wind here today.... I thought about hand washing/drying mine but I may let the Honda dealership wash it next.

Need a couple more to fit the door grab on each door. I have read where guys sucked those up in the vacuum cleaners.

They sell a material in rolls at Walmart you use to line shelves and drawers with that looks like what you used there. Don't think I have ever saw it in orange though.

 

I'm not sure why the plastic canvas I found was orange LOL. Not sure what the stitching people do with these things but they had some groovy colors.
