It's because the internet is scary. The hundreds of people that see your plates parked in front of your work, favorite restaurant, home, etc. are cool, but the internet...

I figure I'm more likely to be shot by my wife. I sleep with one eye open.

Did you get your HAM call sign vanity plates? It was until fairly recently that you could look up addresses online based on call signs with the FCC website, but many others have copied the list and still show them.

Haha I'm not scared at all. However, there are some sick ass people out there. I have always worried about my kids, especially when they were young. My wife? I worry about the person who tries to mess with her...

Last thing.... to all the guys who have their fingers sticking in their ears singing "lalala" this shit really happens. Blurring a plate is just like looking both ways when the light turns green. Probably don't need to, but just in case.

You can still do that. Kyitty did it to me on page 2 to prove a point.

I had it in my sig, but was having 2nd thoughts. He just sealed my decision.

I think the rub of it is, if someone wants to fuck your day up, your plate, ham call, whatever is kinda irrelevant. It may just make their task a tad bit easier.

Done and done, I lived in a apartment building on the 3rd floor. The building had a trash shoot by the elevator. Simply open the door and then Open trash shoot door and put the bag in and it falls the 3 stories to the bottom. People were just to lazy to do simplest of things, they would just leave their trash in that little room to sink up the hallway and elevator. I would open the bag and find a piece of mail and drop it back on their door step on the welcome mat.

Believe it or not there are people out there with beater cars that have quite a bit to lose. They could have a $40k Tacoma ripped apart sitting in the garage with $2k of tools and $5k worth of new parts waiting to go on.

My grandfather who was what most people would call “loaded” never drove anything but beat up trucks.

haha someone in my building got something from dicksbymail or somesuch. It was a buuuuuuunch of little confetti dicks. This happened about 6 - 8 months ago. I still randomly find dicks in the hallway/garage.
