Do you use the stock grille clips? They suck.

I'm looking to get a new grille soon as most of the grille clips have broken off.

Just took mine off for the first time and broke a few of the clips. I'm thinking zip ties might be an easier solution haha.

IMG_1301.jpg Finally looks like I fixed my heater. Had to trim the cracked heater core piping. Doesn't appear to leak.

Also, took delivery of a 4xinnovations heavy duty transmission mount. Hopefully this will help cut down some of the shifter movement and vibrations. Will hopefully install this weekend.

Visited Toytec Lifts today. I'm beginning my suspension overhaul. This is Part 1. Old man emu nitrochargers for the back.

If you need anything from Toytec, hit up my buddy's Hugo or Bijan. They'll hook you up.IMG_0511.jpgIMG_0512.jpg

Do you have a post detailing your suspension plans? I think I've finally decided to save up for the full OME kit that Wheelers sells - comes with 881s, Dakar springs and greasable shackles, nitros all around, and an extended brake line. With a bonus from work and some extra income I'll have enough for the kit by the new year.

Toytec has a similar kit, but wheeler's has a Dakar leaf pack specific to the 95-97 regular cab that isn't on the Toytec site.

Current set up is rough country shocks, Ome 881 springs, wheelers aal on stock leafs.

By New Years, hoping to upgrade to ome nitrochagers all around, and 882 or 883 springs.

I also have some light racing uca's sitting in my garage.

Maybe one day I'll get the Dakar springs.

Installed the 4xinnovations tranmission mount. You can see here that it is beefier than the oem, along with having polyurethane bushings instead of rubber ones. First impressions is more vibrations at idle and acceleration, but tighter feeling powertrain. IMG_1304.jpg

What’s your hub to fender measurement, I’m trying to figure out what springs to do 2881 or 2882?

I'll take some measurements later today. The front did settle a bit.

Front and back are about 24" from the hub to the fender. Note I'm also running the 10mm poly spacer. 7.5" from the top of tire to fender.

Nope. Solid 1 piece driveshaft. Not sure it would do much.

Finally got the matching old man emu front shocks. Hoping to do the front shocks, (still uninstalled) SPC ucas, the CV axle boots, and a tundra brake upgrade in one weekend.

Much like most 3.4 owners, I've done the deckplate mod.

IMG_0632.jpg So I've been having the most annoying metallic rattle around 2800 rpm and up. Sounded pretty serious. Over the last few weeks, I had narrowed it down to the egr piping. Today, I found the culprit...dammit.
