LineX is great for throwing grocery bags and lumber in the bed of a pick-up.... period.

^^^^ THIS! Overpriced for what it is (see bottom of post).

But not for dings and gouges.

Why take it off? Paint over... done!

I put Apollo bedliner on my AVID step bars and bumper guards. It was garbage. I wasted $120 for two step epoxy crap. Heck, even the shop that I got it from stopped using it.

    I ended up using this.

$10 a can at Cambodian Tire. It's as durable as anything out there. I never took anything off after my first application (cheap grey or epoxy primer bare metal first). I simply held a piece of boxboard between the bars and the body when I needed to touch anything up. It has a textured finish that hides any scratches or scuffs, and covers and adheres to previous applications. It works great.

well I will be taking them off before getting my buddy to undercoat the truck for the winter, good as time as any to touch up the paint while it is off and there is really no sense on putting them back on until spring. don't really need them on in the winter and they will last longer by not being exposed to the salt. that's the way I see it anyways.

Says 23A under load. I'll set it up where I'll have to connect to the actual compressor so I'll have to air out the cabin anyway.

I had a bit of a busy day. Still have lots to do. Ended up doing a 10 point turn to get into my driveway.

3” off the fenders, beat pinch weld, and cut cab mount. Need to do a lot more cutting of the cab mount.....a lot more. Probably need to beat the firewall more too.

Looks good. Is your rear flex situation all good now? Was really weird how you snapped the leaf last run. Was that do to having too long of a shackle?

I’m changing out my hangers and shackles soon. Not flipping anything but I may get longer shocks for droop. Little iffy on uptravel with the tires though. Can’t hack the flatbed...
